So, you’re still judging me then…nice.

I came across a little blurb for a Scary Mommy post in my Facebook feed. They post about a million things a day. Some my cup of tea, others meh, and a few that are not at all my jam.

Like this one:

I confess here and now I did NOT click on the link. I did not read what Dr. Judgy-Pants had to say to mothers who are struggling to breastfeed.

Because look at that tagline. Just look at it! “I do not hold judgment….as long as….” So. As long as I do something you deem worthy, then you will not judge me. Except….stay with me now. That is still judging.

Come on!

If there is an “except” or an “as long as” in your statement…you are Dr. Judgy-Pants. Knock it off.

Moms get enough judgment from every direction all the damn time about every damn thing. They do not need it from their pediatrician. I assure you.
